scruffy_mcjackass: (OBJECTION)

If she left as soon as she knew what was happening--which was pretty damn early in the month, by my calculations--and stuck Pai in a corner like the reasonable adult she pretends to be, Kelt could have saved us from more than half a month's suffering. There were other people who died because of a trivial issue that she was perfectly capable of solving, but chose not to, because she wanted to see what Zephyr would do about it. And apparently, Zephyr chose to be sick, because no fucking shit, Zephyr was bedridden and actually couldn't do anything about it. It didn't have a choice, but she did. Am I the only person who sees how much of a bullshit double-standard this is?

So not only does Kelt only care about her fellow species while the rest of us are systematically murdering one another, but she's shitty at that job, too. Pat her on the back for putting on a brave face the first day and stopping you from slaughtering a couple of animals and one whole other resident. Obviously those were the only shits she had the capacity to give.

Of course this isn't her land to fuck with. It wasn't Pai's, either, but that didn't stop him from shitting all over us. I know that she doesn't have that kind of power--which is why I never suggested it, idiot. What I'm suggesting--and what I suggested to her, and she refused to take advantage of--is that she handle the little bastard in a place where they're on equal footing, outside of our universe. Of course Pai had more power than she and Warren do here, as does Zephyr; so why the fuck not take care of the problem where she's capable of actually doing something about it, instead of hanging around here and scratching the backs of a few people who she knows will scratch hers in return?

Oh, wait, I think I've answered my own question. Enjoy your little basket-making party, troll. I'm sure your outstanding ability to suck up to the marginally powerful will get you very far in this village. Maybe Kelt and Warren will make you your own collar and leash if you keep it up.

Kelt is a hero to the people she selects who are worthy enough of her superior judgement and attention. I have the safety of the majority in mind, and I always have.

Choose your priorities wisely.
